In the serene village of Vardaghbyur, Armenia, Herbs & Honey established a unique destination for visitors. They built an eight-room hotel with a restaurant accommodating 50 guests and established facilities for meetings and seminars, attracting tourists, businesses, and groups. This initiative brought diverse visitors to enjoy the charm of Vardaghbyur and the agro-tourism center offerings.
The visitors are given the unique opportunity to observe the cultivation of herbs, the production of honey, and animal husbandry in a vibrant farm adjacent to the hotel. The farm also hosts seminars and business meetings, providing a dynamic space for learning and collaboration. In addition, a farm shop offers healthy food products, with fresh produce being a staple in the restaurant’s delicious cuisine.
To ensure the restaurant could deliver an exceptional culinary experience, Herbs & Honey partnered with the USAID-funded RED-NEO Program to upgrade their kitchen equipment. The installation of new ovens, stoves, and various machines allowed chefs to craft exquisite dishes using fresh, locally sourced ingredients. This collaboration has elevated the dining experience, making it a highlight for visitors.
