On the second year of implementation of RED-NEO program a cost extension has been proposed by USAID aiming to strengthen gender focus of the project and increase the access of women rural entrepreneurs and business owners to training, financing, market opportunities and promoting policies and practices for them to establish and grow competitive businesses. The new component entitled “Women leading rural entrepreneurship – WoLeRE” has two main objectives:

Objective 2: Stakeholders’ capacity and commitment to address insufficient policies,employment practices, cultural, and other barriers to advance women’s economicleadership/empowerment cultivated
