On October 26, the “Wines of Armenia” wine producers’ NGO held its regular meeting at Alluria Winery, a RED-NEO beneficiary. The agenda included discussions on the organization’s 2025 action plan, the signing of a cooperation memorandum with the Institute of Molecular Biology, and a presentation on new procedures for membership and membership suspension.
USAID has played a key role in supporting Armenia’s winemaking sector by boosting production quality, expanding export opportunities, and promoting sustainable agricultural practices. Through technical assistance, training, and market access initiatives, USAID has enabled Armenian winemakers to enhance product standards with modern equipment, access new markets, and increase the visibility of Armenian wines internationally.
