Driven by the aspiration to boost her family’s income, Naira Ohanyan initiated the production of pastries in 1999 under the brand name Very Tasty. What began as a modest endeavor quickly evolved into a prosperous enterprise, leading to the establishment of a specialized production facility in 2019. With Naira as the main baker and her husband overseeing deliveries, they expanded services to include lunch box deliveries and catering, meeting evolving client needs.
Recognizing the importance of quality, Naira upgraded equipment with support from the USAID-funded RED-NEO project, ensuring adherence to stringent standards. Beyond baking, Naira’s passion extended to teaching others, offering baking masterclasses, and promoting inclusivity by hiring displaced women who moved to Armenia from Artsakh. Diversifying products and markets, Naira earned a reputation for high-quality treats, becoming known as “The Best Taste” and inspiring others with her journey of determination and persistence.
