The challenges of 2020, from the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic to the Artsakh conflict, highlighted the importance of bolstering local manufacturing and sales. This prompted the inception of Machanents wines, symbolizing resilience and community development. Initially a home-based endeavor, it swiftly evolved into a thriving venture, with considerable support from the USAID-funded RED-NEO program.
Through this program, the enterprise received state-of-the-art winemaking equipment and supplies, ensuring adherence to global standards and the delivery of premium-quality wines. Today, Machanents wines have already been highly appreciated by consumers and have taken their unique place among the delicious Armenian wines.
