On her last week’s tour of Lori marz, Ambassador Tracy visited the Kaghni guesthouse in Dsegh. There, she enjoyed lunch and was happy to learn about the guesthouse’s unique construction as a “container hotel,” as well as all the natural produce the owners grow, including raspberries, rabbits and bees. USAID’s Rural Economic Development-New Economic Opportunities project supported Kaghni with kitchen equipment, furniture for their canteen and outside terrace, as well as solar panels to reduce their energy cost.
