Maran Winery, the beneficiary of the RED-NEO project, organized its annual festival for Halde underwater wine on July 14th. This event, now in its fourth consecutive year, showcases the innovative approaches of the company aimed at boosting Armenia’s economic development.
Maran Winery employs a unique technique, submerging approximately 1000 bottles of wine in Lake Kari each year, retrieving them the following year. This method, used for the first time globally by Maran LLC, involves storing the wine 8 meters deep in the lake at an altitude of 3200 meters. The underwater aging process significantly transforms the wine.
