Under this component the project has conducted a thorough baseline assessment to identify business\/farming upgrade needs at each community and designs its interventions based on the results of the latter. Interventions under component \u201cA\u201d include but are not limited to:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Capacity building trainings for more than 60 cooperatives and lead farmers<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Technical assistance trainings for at least 3,000 farmers<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Promotion of horizontal and vertical cooperation in targeted value chains<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Improvement of access to extension services and quality inputs<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Improve access to quality repair services for agricultural machinery<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Establishment of more efficient varieties\u2019 nurseries<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cooperation with academia<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Cooperation with other development initiatives and partners<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Business networking, etc.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Component A: Rural Incomes Through Agricultural and Other Production Increased and Diversified &nbsp; Component \u201cA\u201d of the RED-NEO Program aims to assist rural small businesses to upgrade their production and meet required production qualities and quantities.
