In 2019 Gyulnara initiated the production of bread and bakery products in her hometown Koti.<\/p>\n
Despite the typically demanding nature of the bakery industry, which is historically male-dominated and requires strenuous physical labor, the absence of men due to military service posed a significant challenge. Consequently, local women assumed the task of bread production, reflecting the community’s resilience in the face of challenging circumstances.<\/p>\n
With support from the USAID-funded RED-NEO project, Gyulnara modernized her manufacturing facilities, improving production efficiency and expanding her market reach. Currently, she holds contracts with local educational institutions and provides fresh bakery items for breakfast and lunch services, as well as supplies for the army.
